GWO Enhanced First Aid – Basic
Training is a 3-day (21-hour) course designed for individuals working in wind turbine environments who require advanced first aid competence, often requested by clients for onshore and offshore operations. The training equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to provide safe, effective, and immediate lifesaving care in remote locations, including the use of advanced emergency equipment and medical teleconsultation.
GWO Enhanced First Aid Refresher
Refresher Training is a 2-day (14-hour) course designed for professionals working in wind turbine environments who hold a valid GWO Enhanced First Aid certificate and need to renew their qualification. The training refreshes and strengthens advanced first aid knowledge and practical skills required to provide safe and effective lifesaving care in remote onshore and offshore locations.
GWO Slinger Signaller
Training is a 2-day (14-hour) course designed for wind industry personnel involved in slinging techniques and signaling during straightforward lifting operations. The training equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely and efficiently support lifting activities in accordance with a predefined lift plan and identified hazards.
GWO Sea Survival
This is a 1-day (6.5-hour) course designed for individuals working in or travelling to offshore wind farms. The training equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to act safely and responsibly during offshore operations, including emergency situations at sea.
GWO Service Lift User (VR)
The GWO Service Lift User Module is a 4-hour training designed for personnel working on wind turbine generators where lifts are used for transporting personnel and equipment inside the WTG. The course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to use service lifts safely and correctly, with a strong focus on responsibility, risk awareness, and correct decision-making.
GWO Crane and Hoist User
This is a 1.5-day (14-hour) course designed for wind industry personnel who are required to operate small, fixed cranes and hoists (below 8 ton-meters) during routine onshore or offshore work. The training provides participants with the essential knowledge and safe working practices needed to use lifting equipment correctly in a wind turbine environment, in accordance with manufacturer instructions and relevant legislation.
GWO High Voltage Cable Pulling
This is a 1-day (8-hour) course designed for individuals who hold a valid GWO BTT Mechanical certification and are involved in supporting HV cable pulling operations within the wind industry. The training combines theory and practical exercises to prepare participants to safely and effectively support HV cable pulling activities, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and correct work practices.
