Aleksandra Gajewska-Niemyt - Head of GWS Academy 

Meet Aleksandra, also known as Ola. Starting as a Training Coordinator at Global Wind Service in 2016, she quickly advanced to become the Training Team Lead. After that, she was assigned a role of Program Manager to establish the Global Wind Service Academy in Poland.

Today Ola is the Head of Academy overseeing all activities around its daily business. Additionally, she works actively on promoting the wind industry as a great place to work.

Lukasz Mazurek

Lukasz Mazurek is the Sales Manager at Global Wind Service Academy, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in sales across a variety of industries. Over the years, he has developed a reputation for building strong relationships and delivering results, with a focus on understanding client needs and creating tailored solutions.
 At Global Wind Service Academy, Lukasz is focused on driving growth and expanding our reach, ensuring we remain a trusted partner in training and development.

Tycjan Zalewski - GWS Academy Instructor

Former GWS Site Manager

Tycjan has a background in computer technology but has more than a decade of hands-on experience in wind industry. Tycjan’s roles included being a team leader, Site Manager, and Quality Advisor. His knowledge covers all stages of wind turbine construction, installation, mechanical and electrical completion as well as maintenance and service. Tycjan joined Global Wind Service in 2015, first working as a Site Manager. In 2022 he became GWS Academy instructor. His biggest motivation is to share his knowledge while inspiring the next generation of wind energy professionals.

Grzegorz Świeżak - GWS Academy Instructor

Former GWS Site Lead

Instructor of the following trainings:

  • GWS Onboarding 

 Grzegorz started his career in the wind industry in 2012 as a Service and Maintenance of Service Lift technician. Afterwards, he joined Ainscough to work on Senvion and Vestas turbines. He also had the opportunity to work as service technician offshore. In 2021 he started working for Global Wind Service on Siemens Gamesa and Vestas turbines, then in 2022 he became GWS Academy Instructor. Grzegorz is a big fan of motor sports, outdoor activities, and travelling.

Aleksander Gołda - GWS Academy Instructor

Former GWS Blade Technician

Aleksander (Alek) has been developing his skills and experience in wind industry for over 13 years. He brings a comprehensive expertise in blade repair and rope access. He started his career in LM Wind Power, Service and Logistics, where he had opportunity to work on Senvion, GE, Nordex and Siemens Gamesa projects as a Blade Repair Technician. After 5 years he joined Skagen Blade Technology as a service technician and inspector onshore and offshore, working on Siemens Gamesa turbines. Alek has been working for Global Wind Service since 2018, first as a blade technician across Europe, and since 2021 as GWS Academy instructor. In his free time, Alek loves outdoor activities and boxing.

Piotr Świderek - GWS Academy Instructor

Former GWS Blade Technician

Piotr has been working in the wind industry since 2010. He spent three years mastering his skills as a blade technician and quality specialist at Siemens Gamesa. Venturing across Europe Piotr gained experience and broader knowledge within his field of expertise, which then carried him to Global Wind Service, where he started working as warehouse coordinator, PPE Inspector, and service technician on Siemens Gamesa projects. In 2020 he became an instructor at GWS Academy. When not working, Piotr loves to cook, climb and hike in the mountains.
